EIGHT YEARS OF BLISS!

(I had wrote this and never posted it, oops.)

Dear Jeremy,
We have now been married for eight wonderful years.  It has been a great road that we went down together.  Of course you like to take the bumpy roads and I like the smoother, paved ones. Just had to throw in a little joke that only you would understand. You have been so understanding and loving the past eight years and I have really enjoyed spending all this time with my best friend.  I never have doubted the love that you have for me. Thank you for all the memories you have given me and I can't wait to make more! I love you! Forever!
Love Always,
Amy

Savannah and I have really been enjoying the summer weather. We will be sad when it is gone. She loves to get in her pool or play on her slipin' slide. Since I have been pregnant I am all about eating ice or some type of slushy, so Savannah has become quite addicted to Icee's and slushies.  And nothing say summer more than kool aid right? Here a few pics of Savannah enjoying her time in the hot sun.

Welcome
Michael Jacob Pratt!
Thursday, July 22nd at 7:42 am Jake was born.  He weighed 7 lbs 11 oz and was 19 in long.  Savannah was so excited to see him. She said "Baby Jake came out but baby brother is not ready". She is so smart I didn't tell her that, it amazes me how much she understands about pregnancy. Other than she thinks she can put gold fish crackers into my belly button to feed brother. We are very happy Jake arrived healthy and can't wait to get to know his little personality. Congrats to Mike, Elizabeth, Ava and Makayla!
She could not get enough of the baby!

Maternity Photo's

I had maternity pictures taken the other day by a couple of girls in my neighborhood, Janai Maughan and Jocelyn Cooley.  They did an amazing job and were so nice to work with.  I was very uncomfortable being the only person in the photos (minus the baby in my belly) and they made me feel much more relaxed once we started. They had so many ideas and so it made it easy just to go with the flow. I would recommend having them take your family photos or whatever the occasion might be. I just wanted to give a big thanks to them for taking such awesome pics that I will have to remember this wonderful pregnancy (joking on the wonderful pregnancy). No but for real I didn't do this with Savannah and I wished I had more photos of when I was pregnant with her. Thanks so much Janai and Jocelyn for taking the time to do this photo shoot I had alot of fun! I don't have Janai's blog but I will put Jocelyn's below if you want to check out her work.

Fun at the Gateway

My sister and I took our girls to the Gateway to play in the water.  The girls were a little uncertain at first but they ended up loving it.  They wanted me to walk them into the middle and I ended up getting pretty wet but it was hot so it did feel pretty good after the first initial shock. They had such a great time we will definitely go back and it is free, can't complain about that.
This is so much fun!

Come on Ava!

Ahhhhhhhh!!!

Looking for the water to come up.

Bear Lake

The week before the 4th of July we went camping up at Bear Lake. It was a fun time but I realized that I just can't do as much when I'm six months along.  I was so exhausted by the end of each day.  We went with Wyatt, Samantha and their kids.  We had an awesome time minus the tiredness.  On our way up to Bear Lake when Savannah saw the lake she said "we are almost to Disneyland".  She thinks anytime we go on vacation it is to Disneyland.  She absolutely loves that place. We did quite a few things while we were camping. We visited Ricks Spring, went thru Minnetonka Cave which had 888 stairs and was 40 degrees inside!  We went on four wheeling rides (which one of them Savannah fell asleep on so we had to hold her up the whole time) we rented bikes, a boat and sea doo.  Savannah loved the boat and going on the sea doo with her Daddy.  She is always up for any type of thrill. We stayed at a KOA campground so they had some activities for the kids also. She loved going to the park and the pool. It was fun getting out in the camper although when we left I asked Savannah is she had fun camping and she said "we didn't go camping, you camp in a tent". I thought that was funny that even she knows that you are not supposed to have air conditioning and watch movies while camping. I think the funniest thing that happened was while we were eating dinner one night.  I had put a casserole in the oven and we starting eating, we like to put Tony's cajun seasoning on pretty much everything so I had it on the table.  We were so tired from everything we did that day that when Jeremy got him seconds he came back to the table and poured Dr. Pepper on his casserole thinking it was Tony's.  The bad thing is I was so tired I watched him do it.  It was probably much funnier when you are deliriously tired.  Anyways here are a few of the pictures from our trip.
Going for rides looking over Bear Lake.

90 DaYs LeFt!!!

I am now 6 months along and only have three more. Yay! I am not one for prego pictures but someone asked me to take one so they could see me pregnant since they don't live around me so I did and figured I might as well post it.  I have gained 39 pounds so far (shhh don't tell anyone). I am allowing myself the same as I gained with Savannah so I have only 25 more that I can gain before I start really getting worried.  I know that is alot of weight for some but I just had to realize that is what my body does when I'm pregnant and I had to just get over it.  We have decied on a name. Our baby boy will be named Breckin J. Hansen ( We never really discussed the spelling so I think that is how we will spell it but who knows).  Jeremy wanted the middle intial J. because it is after his dad who is past away and after Jeremy.  After we decided on that we found out there are others in the family with the same middle initial but we figured with over fifty nieces and nephews we are just happy to have a first name that no one has chosen!

Savannah (someone who hates taking pictures)
decided she wanted in on the action and asked
if she could take a picture with me.
You got to love when it is that easy!

PROJECTS....

Well I can mark another project off the "to do" list. I am embarrassed to show a before picture of my laundry room but if you see it then you will understand why this was on my list of things to do. It seems to collect everything on the washer and dryer as we come in from the garage or clean off the kitchen table. The room is really small so it was hard to take pictures. On the back wall I have a coat rack to hang stuff up on and don't pay to close attention to the vinyl, it is a little crooked.  It was hard to do with a big prego belly and the washer and dryer in the way.  I am done except I have to find mini chalk boards to hang on each basket and label what is in the baskets. Project total was around $55 (three baskets, floor rug, big jar for laundry detergent and the magnetic board).  I didn't include the price of vinyl because I already had it for other stuff. (And yes, my washer and dryer don't match. Maybe my dryer will go out soon.)
BEFORE
(sad to say but this is on a good day)
AFTER
(I forgot to put the vinyl on the jar when I took the other pictures)
