Mexico Cruise

Jeremy and I celebrated our tenth anniversary by going on a cruise. This actually was our first time cruising. It was an awesome time! We did lots of things at port, things I probably wouldn't normally do. We left Long Beach and went to Cabo San Lucas for two days and them Puerto Vallarta for a day and then back to Long Beach where we drove home. It was a seven day cruise, we ate way too much fun while on the boat, there was food everywhere. I got sick of the food but still kept eating it because it was there. The food is your normal buffet quality. Jeremy and I did enjoy the ice cream machines way too much! Oh and the plate of cookies from room service, I ate way too many cookies! The first day in Cabo we rented this ghetto scooter and drove to the beach and just about got hit only like twice. Jeremy definitely needs to polish his scooter skills:) We ate at this little place on the pier, we had nachos. I know very authentic! They were really good though. The second day we rented a wave runner and that was more scary than I thought it would be only because we were riding next to the huge cruise ship and it made you feel lie you were about to be swallowed up by a whale! I loved the times that we just laid out in the sun on the ships balconies and sipped on our virgin drinks. In Puerto Vallarta we did this jungle zip line tour. Oh my goodness can we just say hot, hot, hot! It was so humid! It was probably my favorite thing that we did, I was pretty proud of myself for doing it! We were excited to get home because we missed our kids but we were ready for another cruise after being home a few days! We are definitely doing this soon but with the kids!

There were tons of these flying fish!
It was so fun to watch them from our balcony.

Jeremy's Birthday

So I mentioned in a previous post how Jeremy's birthday celebration didn't go as planned due to weather and sick kids. But I forgot to post any pictures of our last minute celebrations. It is not anything great but we used what we could find at home. We made a sign and Savannah was dying to make balloon hats so I attempted them. Jeremy had wanted a TV but that is something I do not feel comfortable picking out so Savannah drew him a picture of a TV and folded it up for him to unwrap. We also got him some new workout shirts. Sorry Jeremy that we didn't get to do much for your birthday but we love you so so much!

Blue vs Red

We had a "friendly" rivalry football party for the BYU-UTAH game. It was a fun group all though we had more Utes fans than cougars. Yes BYU was handed many opportunities to win the game and still choked but whatever it was a fun night!
