Thank you for chicken nuggets?

So last night I was saying prayers with Savannah before bed and I always help her say things she is thankful for. I said thank you for mommy, thank you for daddy... and then she starts going off. "Thank you for chicken nuggets. I love chicken. Thank you for McDonalds." Jeremy and I could not keep it in, we cracked up laughing! Savannah we love you!

SEVEN YEARS!

On July 13th Jeremy and I celebrated our seven year anniversary. We met on March 9, 2002 and were married four months later. Some might say it was fast but we knew we were supposed to be together forever. Of course we have our ups and downs, but I would say mostly ups! We love spending time together and as a family. We have hardly nothing in common other than we like to entertain and be outdoors. But I think it is fun this way because we have to learn to like what the other one likes and things are always interesting. For our anniversary we went up to Park City and had dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. It was delicious! Our friend Janeece watched Savannah for us so we could go on a date alone. We had not done that in a while! It was a really fun night and it was nice spending time alone. I just want Jeremy to know how much I love him and how much I appreciate everything he does for Savannah and I. Jeremy is very caring and is always looking for ways he can help. He is an extremely hard worker. I have had so much fun and look forward to another seven years! Love you Jeremy! You are the best!

Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple

On July 11th we went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. We invited Jeremy's brother ans sister, Matt and Michelle and then their family. I told Savannah we were going to be going to the temple so for a couple days before that is all she could talk about. "Mommy, I am going to go to Jesus' house, I am going to the temple!". It is so sweet when they are only two years old and they know who Jesus is and that the temple is a special place. When we drove up to the temple she kept saying "I am going to the temple, I am going to see Jesus!" We had really late reservations, they were at 8:40 pm. So by the time we got in the temple she was not doing so well. If she could have ran through it by herself she would have been just fine. Of course when we got a cookie at the end she was a total different person. I know she won't remember going to the temple that day but I will always remember what she said before we went. And now everytime she sees a picture of the temple she always says "Mommy, I am going to the temple, okay?" I hope Savannah that you will live worthy so that one day you will have the opportunity to go through the temple. I am so grateful for all my family. I love you.

Washers?

So I never knew there was a game called washers. Last night we went to the Beans house and we roasted hotdogs over a a fire pit that Josh built and we also played a game of washers. Every July 24th their family has a washers tournament. They have been trying to practice so they can beat the rest of their family. So anyways it was fun, you throw these huge washers and try to make them in three different holes. But if the person after you makes it in the same hole then you lose your points. Anyways Jeremy and I were on a team and we lost. I was not a lot of help until at the very end. (If you can even call that help) I finally started to learn how I needed to toss the washer so that it "might" go in the hole. Livi took all the little ones for a "wild" ride in her Barbie jeep (those things go faster than I thought). Anyways it was a great time the kids loved it and we had a blast!
