Savannah is now four years old! I can not believe it, she is turning into a little lady. She is so fun to have around, we are never lacking any drama or attitude in our house.  Sometime shortly after her third birthday party she asked for a unicorn party as her next years theme. I like to throw whatever party she wants and I let her choose what she wants but I have to admit I kept asking her for the last year what kind of party she wanted to have, hoping that she would eventually change her mind.  Well as you can see that never happened so I did my best finding ideas and decorations for this unicorn themed party.  I had a tight budget for this party and I am glad to say that this was the most inexpensive party I have ever done. (Partly because I couldn't find anything for unicorn parties).
We started out the party by coloring their bags that would later hold their goodies.  I had printed out unicorns to color and tape on the bag.  We then made "magic dough".  I had bought a pack of the mini size play dough container's and we had each girl choose a color of glitter dust and sprinkle in the play dough.  By that time I had finished cooking the food. We had individual heart shaped pizzas (made out of Rhodes rolls), "unicorn food" (apple slices, celery and carrots) and two different types of "unicorn horns" (refrigerated bread sticks twisted and bugle chips).
Then it was time for games.  I had printed out different pictures of unicorns and birthday cakes and made a matching game on the wall. Each time the girls made a match they could to choose a prize. (When the game was over I made sure each girls had the same amount of prizes so they didn't feel left out.) Then we played "pin the horn on the unicorn". I had a unicorn book I was going to read to the girls but ran out of time.  We opened presents and I had each girl sit beside Savannah while she opened the gift they brought so she could thank them and I took a picture of each of them with Savannah to use for thank you cards.
We sang to her and had birthday cake. She wanted a unicorn cookie cake and I couldn't find anywhere near us that had cookie cakes. I finally found one at Sam's club and the cookie cake was really good. I don't want to know how fattening it is since I ate most of the left over cake.  I found pink and purple swirl pops at birthday express and used those as party favors.  They were supposed to have cute printouts that said "thank you for coming to my party" on them but I ran out of time.  I also had a slide show of Savannah playing in the living room for the adults to watch while the party was going on.
Savannah really enjoyed it, she had so much fun with her friends and loved all the gifts she got. Thank you everyone for taking time out of your day and coming to her 4th birthday.
Love you Savannah, you will always be our little girl!

This is the thank you cards, just with a different girl each time.
