Green everything!

We made green pancakes, green milk and made sure to put it on a green plate for St. Patrick's Day. I was kinda sad, Jeremy is our designated pancake maker (mine aren't as good) but he was out of town for work. So we had to celebrate without him. Savannah still ate my pancakes, good thing she is so young and can't tell that my pancakes are not fluffy like Daddy's.

Today (which is the day after St. Patty's) Savannah comes to me very concerned. "Mom I'm going to get pinched because I'm not wearing green". I thought oh no what did I do, I explained that it what just for yesterday. I am hoping this goes away because she has nothing green!

Dress #2

I am so excited I have been practicing making pillowcase dresses for Savannah. I figured since summer is coming up and she loves wearing a dress I would just make her a bunch of these. I know you skilled sewer's are probably laughing at me but I never thought i would be able to make a dress (even though it is the most simplest dress there is). They are costing me around $3.00 to make. You can get more expensive fabric but I am just sticking with the cheaper stuff since they are just to play in. I made dress number two today and I am so happy with how it turned out. By no means is it perfect but I think it looks adorable. And my little Savannah makes it even more cute!

Excited little campers

Well camping time is very near.  We are going on our first trip the end of March. Some of Jeremy's family wanted to do a different style camping (showers, bathrooms, cabins etc.) hehe.. so I planned a family trip in Zion's national park. I am so excited it is going to be a blast! They have a shooting range, paintball course, minature golf, sports courts, a zip line, a climbing wall and so much more. And of course we will be hiking in Zions and riding four wheelers. I love this time we get to spend with our family we always have a great time and usually make some funny memories. It seems like a awesome campground, here is their blog if you want to check it out for yourself. And of course I will be posting about our trip when I get back.

Fun day with McKay

The Miller's came up for an interview so we were able to hang out a little. We took the kids to the park for a picnic until we got blown away by the tornado that came. Not really but I swear the wind was horrible. We then decided to take them to ToysRus to play and look at all the toys.
Don't even ask. She has been into making up her own poses.
I never know what I'm going to get.

Savannah and McKay riding scooters

Savannah was pretending to drive this jeep and McKay
crawled over the hood of the police car to get in with Savannah.
But then.....

McKay told Savannah to come here and showed her
the passenger side of this Cadillac.
He wanted to drive her around. It was so cute.
He already knows what to do with the ladies.

Valentines

We didn't do much this year for Valentines. It was my turn to plan something and I had good intentions but then Monday came around and Breckin wasn't feeling good and screamed the whole day so I didn't do what I had planned. I was taking Jeremy on a lunch picnic but since I couldn't put Breckin down that didn't work out. Jeremy got me a dozen roses. I got him some candy and new dress socks. Yoohoo! Well I guess I will have to do better next time.
Breckin with his Valentines. And yes I know he can't eat candy. That was the plan. Hehehe
Savannah loved her rose that her Daddy gave her. She looked at it all night.

4 months old!

Breckin went to his four month appointment today and he had not gained a lot of weight.  He weighed 12.96 lbs. but was only in the 13th percentile. He was 93rd percentile for height. Not anything to worry about, Savannah was the same way. The doctor said to go ahead and give him cereal and baby food. So I started him out with peas. His face will tell you how he felt about that.

Before the food. Happy Boy!

He was trying to reach for it.
He thought he wanted it.
Does he not remind you of a turtle?

This was after he tried just a little.
He says get that away from me!

Ugh! Not again!

This is cruel Mom!

I can't keep it in any longer!

Really Mom?

Don't worry Breckin Savannah was right at your side.
(Which happens to be on top of the table)
She never leaves you!

Sister to the rescue!

Tonight I decided to let Breckin cry it out for a little while to see if he would go to sleep.  Before I knew it his sweet, kind, caring big sister ran in his room turned on his light and said "Mom, he is crying". By then I was walking in behind her and she went to his crib and he saw her and got a huge grin on his face.  It was so sweet, almost like he was saying thank you sister for coming to my rescue. Sometimes you just have to sit back and enjoy these moments instead of thinking that all your hard work is ruined.
