Our baby is three years old!

Our little girl has been in our life now for three years! It is crazy how much she has grown into a little girl over the past year.  We love her so much and love that we had these three years to spend with her alone.  She is so loving and cares so much about each of us.  She loves being the princess of our family.  Savannah teaches and reminds us each day what we should be doing.  Whether it is sneezing into your arm so you don't spread germs or closing your eyes and folding your arms during the prayer.  She loves to help cook.  Anytime she hears me in the kitchen she runs in and scoots a chair over to the counter and says "Mommy, I want to help you cook".  No matter how much in a hurry I am I can't ever tell her no when she asks to cook. She loves to watch her movies and then role play them with her toys.  The only movie I don't like her doing this to is Cinderella, only because she makes me be the evil step mother.   Savannah absolutely loves going to nursery and she loves her teachers.  Sacrament is another story but what three year old really likes to sit quietly for an hour?  Jeremy loves that it is nice weather again because he loves taking her for daddy daughter dates and they walk to town go to the toy store (of course they always come back with something) and stopping for ice cream.  Savannah always enjoys that one on one time with her Daddy.  Savannah still loves to sing and dance.  She makes up most of her songs (gets that from her Daddy) and she sings them at the top of her lungs. There is so much to say about Savannah because anyone who is around her for a day knows that she does not lack any personality or imagination! We just pray that she grows up knowing she is loved by her parents and her Heavenly Father and that she will always strive to make good choices in her life.  We love you Savannah and can't wait for you to be the best big sister ever!

A daughter is a miracle that never ceases to be miraculous...full of beauty and forever beautiful...loving and caring and truly amazing.

Easter

Coming soon....

Spring Break

We decided to take a trip to California for Spring break this year.  We always say we are going to go somewhere else but somehow always end up there.  It was a fun week though.  We stayed a night in Las Vegas at The Paris.  Savannah hit the jackpot at the arcade, she won 1,000 tickets on one try.  We got to hang out with family, play on the beach and of course go to Disneyland (Savannah's favorite thing to do).  My birthday was during our trip so we went out to eat with Melissa and Richard and came back to the time share and had cake and ice cream.  The weather was nice and I felt pretty good comparing to what I have felt like with this pregnancy.  I can't wait until the next vacation or camping trip!

Painting hair

Tonight my sister, Elizabeth, was dying my hair.  While she was doing it Savannah was very curious about what we were doing. She asked, "Elizabeth why are you painting my Mommy's hair?"  She cracks me up all the time with the things she says but I am not very good at writing them down. Hopefully I will get better.

Finding out I was pregnant

Thusrday night I decided to take another ovulation test and it was positive.  I couldn't figure out how I was ovulating that long. So I took a pregnancy test but one of the lines was not very dark and so I wanted to make sure before I told Jeremy since that has been a sensitive subject around here. Friday morning Savannah and I went to the store to get another test.  Before I took her to school I took the test.  Sure enough it had two lines!  I told Savannah she was going to be a big sister and Mommy was going to have another baby.  She excitedly squealed "I'm going to be a big sister"! I am not sure if she really understood or if she was just excited because I was excited.  So I told her it was our little secret.  On our way to school I asked her if she was excited and if the baby could ride in the back of the car with her.  She said "I'm going to be a big sister and when she cries I will give her a ba-ba.  She was so cute about it.  She said "mom we have a secret".  It is so fun being able to have her there to share in the excitement.

YES WE ARE..........

EXPECTING! We are very excited to share with everyone our awesome news!  We were starting to get down thinking it was either going to happen a long time from now or we were going to have to try another surgery.  So we couldn't wait to share with everyone when we found out the good news. Although I kept it from everyone (yes, including Jeremy) until I could tell everyone in a fun way. I had ordered a "big sister" shirt over a year ago (Thanks for the idea Holly) for Savannah to wear and so I was determined to use it.  Good thing I ordered it big.  We will keep you updated on the pregnancy (and how big I am getting - which it will be pretty big if it is the same as the first). Thank you to all of our family and friends for your support.
